Going for a Testdrive
As always, the proof of the pudding is in the eating as the British like to say.
A demo trial is an essential step in the decision-making process when considering a new application. It provides a hands-on experience that allows potential users to evaluate the software’s features, usability, and compatibility with their specific needs.
By testing the application firsthand, users can determine if it aligns with their workflow and if it can effectively solve their problems. This eliminates the risk of investing in a solution that ultimately falls short of expectations. Additionally, a demo trial offers the opportunity to identify potential issues or limitations that may not be apparent from marketing materials or reviews.
Moreover, a demo and trial can help your users to assess the quality of Dynalight’s support and documentation. Effective customer support is crucial for a smooth transition and ongoing use of the software. By interacting with our support team during the trial period, you can gauge their responsiveness and expertise.

Demo
We have prepared a permanent demo environment for Dynalight that we can use to guide you around the different functionalities and parameters. Of course the setup of this environment is very generic and it does not have anything like the number of users or traffic volumes that we see in production environments but it does the trick. If you are interested in taking part in such a demo session just reach out and we’ll schedule it with you. We’ll have a conference call before the demo so that we can learn more about your business, your requirements and current set-up so that we can tailor the demo to your specific situation. In general we prefer to have lively discussions and answer fantastic questions rather than doing a one-man-show. So, please feel free to invite as many colleagues as you want!
Trial
For us, a trial is not a single event but more like a fixed period of time in which we give prospects the chance to use Dynalight more and more with a number of formal touchpoints where you can decide to continue or stop. Before can embark on this journey together, we require a serious commitment from your side. We do this by preparing a formal project plan together and having it signed off by one of your senior managers.
Setting up a trial environment for a new customer is not something that we can do on an average Wednesday afternoon. This is why we usually start by setting up a limited scope. Usually just a part of the prospects test or staging environment so that there is something recognizable to work with and to be able to compare in detail. After each positive touchpoint, we will expand the scope and volumes. In the final stage, we are more than happy to include load tests to fully demonstrate that we can handle whatever you want to throw at us.
The advantage of this approach is that, if you decide to continue your journey with us, we already have the foundation for the full migration in place and we know how to successfully work together.
